Oh lord, in less than a week I’m off to Britmums Live. My first ever blogging conference and I’m not at all nervous…….. was that convincing? Didn’t think so!
I have never done this before, I know a tiny handful of people in person, most of you are on line persona’s. And whilst it may appear that I ‘have more front than Brighton’ as a dear friend once told me, I am actually crushingly shy about these sorts of things and convinced I’m going to offend someone, get it wrong or end up hiding in the corner and saying nothing.
However, I need to do things that scare me, in an attempt to make myself as brave as I appear, and this was easier than the whole spider thing.
So I’m off to one of the countries leading blogging conferences and I have a very kind sponsor in Look Again. They have been very generous and supportive, and I have loved looking through their website and doing the cyber version of window shopping at the huge range they sell. Do please pop over and look, it’s well worth an hour of your time with a cuppa and a packet of biscuits for some browsing!
Twitter ID: @keynko
Height: 5ft 9ish
Hair: Brown ish
Eyes: blue but hidden behind glasses, because I am a bit like Penfold really!
Is this your first blogging conference? Yes and to say I’m nervous is an understatement!
Are you attending both days? I sure am!
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2013? So many things! But mostly putting faces to names. I have chatted on line with so many amazing bloggers over the last couple of years, and only ever met a tiny handful in real life
What are you wearing? heavens only knows! I’m rubbish at making decisions and my family have stopped listening to me about it.
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2013? Experience from other bloggers, the chance to meet other people and enjoy time with new friends
Tell us one thing about you that not everyone knows not only do we have a fire escape plan for the house, but a zombie plan, a total failure of technology plan and a post- apocalypse plan, and a frighteningly wide knowledge of world war 2 tanks – what can I say – I married a geek!
