Secret Santa? yes please! I love getting presents – who doesn’t. But I enjoy buying gifts for other people even more! And I’m always up for a challenge, buying a gift for someone I have potentially never met before ?- bring it on!
So a group of bloggers went into the preverbal hat and with “Santee’s” name in hand went shopping! And no, not the hassle of the high street, the stress of car parking and crowded shops, but the calm stillness of my living room. With a cup of tea in hand and a cat purring next to me (still wearing my PJ’s) I shopped on line for the perfect Debenhams gift. And what a range to choose from, I was seriously spoilt for choice!
As well as the shopping experience itself I have to say it was a lot of fun to try and fathom the desires of my Santee. I read their blog, watched their twitter feed and stalked their pinterest page – I hope I got it right! I guess we’ll see whether I did when they write their post!
And what did i get? Well whoever got my name from the hat did an epic job of choosing – beautiful kitchen scales
A yummy cookbook (more on that in the new year – watch this space!)
And a board game for the whole family – and not just any board game, but a Dr Who one! Awesome job – and my geeky husband and daughter are more grateful than you can imagine!
And who do I think bought for me? Well……erm……… I have no idea!
Maybe Five’s a Fellowship – I think maybe she’s understand the geek in my house! (both sci-fi and kitchen!
But whoever it was? thank you sooooo much. They are beautiful and thoughtful gifts and I love them! I will make a cake with the book and scales and send it to you!
