We don’t really use soap these days do we, it’s shower gel or gel dispensers that we don’t need to touch – you know ‘cos of germs and things!
And it’s kinda sad, A good weighty bar of soap is quite a comforting thing to wash your hands with. Unless it’s coal tar soap – which always reminds me of my G’ma – loved her – can’t bear the smell of the soap!
Well I’ve converted back to soap! Shower gel is all well and good in a hurry, or at the gym, but when I want to luxuriate in the bath with a cup of tea and a good book, or just want that sensation of clean soft skin on my hands after a day in the garden – then soap it will be!
And why the conversion? A gift from my very lovely chum Helen
I mean who wouldn’t want to use soap that looks this good!
My favourite so far? Nettle and tea tree with shea butter! I got a touch of sunburn a couple weeks back, having been in the garden all day and combined with the insect bites from chopping into the hedge I was in a sorry state and itchy all over! But a cool shower and the magic soap was a life saver! Softened the skin and took out the scratch. And after years of nursing and having to wash my hands every 5 minutes and harsh alcohol gel, the skin on my hands is pretty rubbish, but since I started using this – it’s better than it has been for ages.
So whether it’s a special soap for delicate skin
Or something sparkly and sweet for a gift – this is your woman!
She blogs too – cooks amazing food, has the cutest babies, takes beautiful pictures and even cured her own bacon – what’s not to love!
Thank you for my pressie lovely lady! I’ll be back for more!
