Well I made it to week 2 without killing myself – although my thigh muscles are staging a formal protest!
So how has it been? Well I have rediscovered my love of swimming and am seriously enjoying my peaceful early morning lengths of the pool! I’m not a fan of the “human soup” you get in public pools whens it’s busy, but before 8 a.m our pool is lovely and quiet with only serious swimmers ploughing up and down. It’s perfect for a gentle but effective workout, it’s a very calming thing to do and I come up with my best creative ideas whilst I’m there. I just wish I could find a decent swimsuit I liked that didn’t mean I had to mortgage the children to pay for!
I’m certainly noticing a difference as well, I sleep better and I wake up refreshed.
And as for the big numbers? well…. 2lb weight loss. 1.5 inches off my waist and 1 inch from upper arm !
I can already feel a difference in my clothes
Next week we’re going to step it up a notch and try some new classes! So Body pump here I come ! If you don’t hear from me for a few days, can you just check I survived the first class?
