I haven’t joined in this linky for such a long time, but afternoon tea in the garden with my “outlaws” has inspired me!
So here we are in our little haven in the Dedham Vale, with beautiful views, lovely company and homemade Pavolva! So apologies for the less than perfect pictures, but we are without a bug camera right now, so these are off my phone!
The very clever G’ma A has recently completed a wonderful upcycling project! Using an old and rather battered garden umbrella and tie silk remnants she has made a rather beautiful parasol – I wonder if I can get her to do one for me??
So what was bought as “dwarf” sweet corn are now about 9 feet tall and as you can see, the cobs are beginning to fatten up nicely and we’re all really looking forward to a yummy juicy dinner with them very soon! I had no idea that the silks in the cobs were such an amazing red colour!
And there we go – one of my favourite views! The Dedham Vale looking towards Higham Church, our little corner or the country, scene of many happy family get togethers, and a place that always makes us feel calm and at home!
