Here we are at the end of my first step to getting fit! #oursummeroffitness
It has been a hard few weeks, getting myself of the chair, out of the house and moving – but I’ve done it. I have walked, Zumba’d weight trained, swum and generally moved myself into jeans that are 2 sized smaller than when I started and a feeling of achievement and actual enjoyment of weight lifting (I know – who’d have thought you ever hear me say that!)
Yesterday was a big day – my last class with my workout buddy Bernard – she’s off to uni at the weekend and I have to gone on by myself!
But I think I’m ready. The classes have become a routine and I have managed to fit work and college life which will hopefully make it easier to carry on!
And to spur me on even further I have joined in with the very lovely Kirsty & Clara as well as a host of other wonderful bloggers in their Team Challenge 10. That is to be able to run 10 miles in just 10 months time!
