Some time ago (well a couple of weeks!) The very lovely Sonya, my old goth brain twin tagged me in a blog post to answer some silly questions and I have finally got around to answering them and tagging others in turn.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Ermmmmm I know I’m supposed to remember this as a major milestone in my life, but I’m struggling to remember. I think maybe it was Stevie Wonder, but god knows which one! Does that make me a bad person?
What is your favourite biscuit?
Without a doubt a ginger crunch cream if we’re talking shop bought, of course with a large mug of tea to dunk it in! If we’re talking homemade, then my sister Aprils choc chip cookies – the perfect American soft cookie hmmmmmm!
Who would you most like to go out on the lash with and why?
I’m not a great pub crawler these days, but if I was forced to go it would have to be to somewhere with comfy chairs, really good beer and with, Maggie Smith! I always imagined she was a wicked sense of humour and knows some very funny & probably rude stories.
Who is your blog crush?
Do I have to just name one? Cos I can’t do that! There is no secret that I have a very soft spot for Domesticgoddesque, one of the first blogs I ever read and one of the nicest, funniest women I have had to honour of drinking coffee with (still kinda star struck that she recognised me when we met up and hugged me!) But then there is the ever adorable Annie, the first grown up blogger to speak to me, my driving buddy from our mammoth trip to John O Groats and some I wish I could be more like when it comes to picture taking!
When are you happiest?
With my family. Striding out on an adventure, in the mountains of Scotland or along our local coastal walk, with my hand in Badgers and my babies walking ahead of us laughing and joking – if there’s a heaven when this is all over – that’s what it will be like!
What is your favourite word?
Wombat? Biscuit? or maybe puppy – but only because I would reeeeeaaaalllly like one and Badger won’t let me!
Do you have a secret talent?
I don’t think I do! I can make a pretty mean omelette which is not very secret or exciting really. Wow, I am dull!
What book would you recommend to me?
Kathryne by Anya Seaton which is the first proper grown up book I ever read & Good Omens by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaimen – pee your pants funny!
So questions for other people here we go!
What’s the worst movie you ever paid money to see?
Where would your perfect Christmas be spent?
If you turn you “ipod” (or equivalent music playing device) on whats the first turn that plays?
What is your earliest childhood memory?
And are you a tea or coffee person? mug or cup & saucer?
So who shall I tag?
The very lovely Stacey (who recently redesigned my blog for me & is therefore bloody brilliant!)
Jayne from Mums the word
Alice from Life as Alice
Lizzie from Me & my shadow
Jenny from Cheetahs in my shoes
Looking forward to your answers ladies! x x x
